The new range called UMI has been developed to cut down on maintenance .
Physically the outer gear case is to  industry standard dimensions, so it will interchange with the common units fitted.
But what sets this unit apart from the others is the use of a NON-CORROSIVE  input coupling bush. The system which connects the Electric motor to the gearbox prevents fretting corrosion and also corrosion caused by environmental conditions such as moisture .
A very common problem found in areas such as packing sheds is the motors are extremely difficult to remove from the input of the gearbox, without doing costly damage to either the motor or the gearbox.
Sizes start at UMI-040 which has a 18mm output to UMI-110 which has a 42 mm output. All units are available in hollow outputs or with a single  or double output shaft.
Select Transmission also carry a full range of electric motors in 3 Phase or single phase ,as well DC motors in 180,12 and 24 vdc
